It’s time to catch up with Suzie’s adventures! Having left South America behind her, she jetted off to make her fortune in the United States of America. Because she was camera shy for much of the time, there are sadly only snaps from several places she visited:
Suzie sees Hollywood
The Hollywoodland sign (obviously now minus the ‘land’) is probably one of the most iconic places in the world. It stands atop Mount Lee in Griffith Park. Suzie hiked up one of the many paths to see the sign, and got an amazing view over Los Angeles.
Beverly Hills is a neighbourhood not too far away from the sign. The famed Rodeo Drive can be found here – and is home to many high class fashion outlets and jewellery shops. Suzie likes her fashion; she enjoyed some window shopping and made a couple of stops to pose for photos.
suzie hits up Las VEGAS
Suzie likes the odd bet or two and therefore couldn’t resist a trip to Las Vegas. As well as enjoying the casinos, she found loads of free things to do, one of which was getting this view from a Skybar in one of the hotels. An amazing night time scene wouldn’t you say?
The vegas sign
In addition, just to prove she was definitely in Vegas, she walked down to get a snap with the famous Vegas sign. She quickly snapped this shot and ran away, because there were so many people around and it was so hot!
Her final stop in the US of A was a couple of days spent in the City by the Bay, San Francisco! She stopped by the Golden Gate bridge, saw the cute sea lions sunbathing at Pier 39 and also gazed out over the infamous former prison, Alcatraz.
